This unit is suitable for paging and communication application in industrial areas having hazardous atmospheres. The main enclosure of the equipment is designed to meet requirements of flameproofness as per IS:2148-2004( for gas groups IIA and IIB) and weather proofness as per IS: 12063 - 1987 for IP - 55. the handset is rendered intrinsiclly safe by using protective circuits housed inside the flameproof enclosure and designed as per IS 5780 - 2002.
